Okay, I'm not being political, here. I'm asking an honest question.

Now the governor of Louisiana is bitching about FEMA, saying it's their job to recover bodies and that they're not doing it fast enough. FEMA says it's not their job, but they're doing it anyway...

This is what, the third or fourth time the La. Gov has been in the news for bitching about someone else's reaction to the hurricane?

Has she done anything productive, or is she just busily bitching about everyone else? Again, I'm asking an honest question and not trying to be political. All I've heard about her doing is bitching; I've not heard of her doing anything else. Sometimes the media is biased, so I'm asking those who might have been paying more attention and/or have different sources.

She's not doing all that great a job, but then again, no one seems to be on top of things despite years/decades of warning.

Check out http://talkingpointsmemo.com/katrina-timeline.php for a good run-down with documentation. Josh's site is also generally good at keeping on top of running news, though it is biased to the left a bit. Even so, one of his blogs (to which you can have feed through your LJ Friends list) today keeps his eye on the ball of a LA Dem under suspicion of corruption...
